Since 1996, Orchid Outfitters (formerly Orchid Island Bikes and Kayaks) has been the premier cycling and paddle sports destination in Indian River County. We are the exclusive dealers for the industry's top brands including Hobie, Hurricane, Native Watercraft, Liquid Logic, Bonafide, Wilderness Systems and Perception. Orchid Outfitters offers kayak and standup paddleboard sales, service and accessories and a full rental division, renting a fleet of bicycles, kayaks and standup paddleboards. Orchid Outfitters operates out of its 7800 sq. ft. of retail space and on-site warehouse space in Vero Beach, Florida.
We are conveniently located in the city of Vero Beach, in Indian River County. Vero Beach is a very popular destination for seasonal residents and tourists. Water and paddle sports are two very popular activities that outdoor enthusiasts enjoy in our area. We have a strong seasonal and year-round population base with diverse lifestyles that invest in quality products and a quality way of life and Orchid Outfitters provides the products and services to accommodate them.

Want to try out a kayak before you make a decision to buy? Great! Just let us know what you want to try, and we will schedule a time to meet you at a local launch, get you set up, and then send you out for a paddle.
Did you know? The last Saturday of the month, Orchid Outfitters hosts a demo day at MacWilliams Park! We are there from 9am – 11am with 12 kayaks ready for you to try! Take 1 or all of our kayaks out and get to know how they feel and handle in the water. Want to try something specific? Let us know and we will be happy load it up and bring it down.

Even if we don’t have it when you visit, we can get it for you quickly and easily. Not only that, but we will also deliver your kayak or paddleboard right to your door for FREE with any purchase over $1,000.
